New Shelter

Elizabeth from Paws to the Rescue

Jolynn from Paws to the Rescue

We added a new shelter to our recipients, Paws to the Rescue @ Marion County, South Carolina.  A  lady by the name of Elizabeth contacted me through our web site beds4paws.com and simply asked “What does a  poor urban shelter have to do to receive some of our beds and cat towers. I contacted them and simply said they had done all they could and we would be glad to help them with the available stock we had.  It consisted of 4 cat towers, 18 beds (12 medium, 4 Large & 2 small).  All they had to do was arrange a pickup – which occurred on December 1st by a very nice young lady shown in the picture, Jolynn B. Churchill.  The animals have some very special elves to help them @ Christmas and all through the year.

As we have always stated that our only interest is seeing that our friends that sometimes we never meet are comfortable in their stays in loving care at the shelters and rescues that house, feed, nurture them and provide the loving care that only dedicated persons like they can do on a daily basis. The least we could do is supply a comfortable bed for them to sleep on till they find their forever home.

We all hope that someday shelter will not be needed but in the meantime support them in memory of any animals you may had had in your lifetime and donations to us are also appreciated.

I am retired after working as an industrial mechanic for most of my work career. I am married have had animals friends almost my whole life. This project that I have taken on has given me more satisfaction than my whole work career. So far over 600 beds and 60 cat bunks or towers have been made and donated to various shelters. Some new items were dog bunk beds and cat hammocks. I sleep at night knowing that in a small way we have made a difference in the life of the animals who have received our beds. We have sent beds to Nebraska, Texas, State of Washington and New Jersey. We have helped Eagle Scouts in their projects and in turn they have helped us.
