Sara Pokorny & Steve Wilcox - Times Leader Staff - Next to Work Table

TV 13  Samson productions was at our workshop on Saturday and will air the clip on Monday 5/07 along with the Times Leader, www.timesleader.com,    on Sunday  this will be in the paper on Monday also. We cannot express our gratitude enough to the media and their links for giving us the coverage.  It is through the coverage that we sometimes get donations and exposure to carry on our activities.  We are all volunteers dedicated to making shelter life more bearable by providing a comfortable sleeping and waiting pad for the animals while they await YOU to come in and take them home.  One animal and One shelter at a time until there is no need for us to continue because people are adopting shelter animals for their lifetime companions.

Paul Kattner

I am retired after working as an industrial mechanic for most of my work career. I am married have had animals friends almost my whole life. This project that I have taken on has given me more satisfaction than my whole work career. So far over 600 beds and 60 cat bunks or towers have been made and donated to various shelters. Some new items were dog bunk beds and cat hammocks. I sleep at night knowing that in a small way we have made a difference in the life of the animals who have received our beds. We have sent beds to Nebraska, Texas, State of Washington and New Jersey. We have helped Eagle Scouts in their projects and in turn they have helped us.
