Reflect on Pictures

The pictures below are from the web and my friends and I found them note worthy and as often said a picture is worth a thousand words.  Beginning with the quote from “Ghandi” and it is a shame that soo many animals are put to sleep every day because of soo many lame excuses.  Then we meditate on the second picture and it is true again some people treasure animals and have more respect for them than life itself.  The third is self explanatory and hopefully your children will not react in the manner indicated.  Number 4 man needs friendship with animals – he becomes a better member of the human race in doing so and his new found friends will never dessert him.

I know our site is basically for providing bedding and support to animal shelters – but we have to speak out every now and then.  We hear horror stories from the shelters we come in contact with and wish we could do so much more.  So say a prayer for the poor animals and also the shelter workers who volunteer their time and sometimes their mental anguish “and ask why”.  Please adopt or visit a shelter and do what you can – people are needed to say a friendly word to the animals or even volunteer in any way they can.  TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

I am retired after working as an industrial mechanic for most of my work career. I am married have had animals friends almost my whole life. This project that I have taken on has given me more satisfaction than my whole work career. So far over 600 beds and 60 cat bunks or towers have been made and donated to various shelters. Some new items were dog bunk beds and cat hammocks. I sleep at night knowing that in a small way we have made a difference in the life of the animals who have received our beds. We have sent beds to Nebraska, Texas, State of Washington and New Jersey. We have helped Eagle Scouts in their projects and in turn they have helped us.
