The pictures are of Luzerne County SPCA receiving Cat Bunk Beds. The beds were made possible through donations received from Maternal and Family Health Services, Inc..  Around XMAS we had a fund drive and in turn MFHS contacted us and expressed their willingness to help, they raised over $220. and numerous dog and cat items were also donated.  In order to be fair we told them to pick a shelter in their area and we would try to accommodate their needs.  They selected  2 cat bunk beds & 6 assorted size dog beds.  We are happy our four legged friends will be sleeping well off the cement floors.  We also unveiled a new product cat hammocks and six were donated also in addition to refurbished cat scratching post.  This is the most gratifying part of what we do knowing our products are going to be delivered to our animal friends.  Maybe just one bed at a time one animal at a time and we can all help with donations monetary, pipe, canvas or time.   The animals cannot say thank you so I will on their behalf  THANK YOU CARING HUMANS!

I am retired after working as an industrial mechanic for most of my work career. I am married have had animals friends almost my whole life. This project that I have taken on has given me more satisfaction than my whole work career. So far over 600 beds and 60 cat bunks or towers have been made and donated to various shelters. Some new items were dog bunk beds and cat hammocks. I sleep at night knowing that in a small way we have made a difference in the life of the animals who have received our beds. We have sent beds to Nebraska, Texas, State of Washington and New Jersey. We have helped Eagle Scouts in their projects and in turn they have helped us.
