We were SANTA for a day

Representatives of various shelters, FELINE FINISH LINE RESCUE, RUTH STEINERT, GOOD DOGS, SALFRID, POCONO RESCUE, ONE LIFE TO LIVE, SAVE A YORKIE RESCUE, MOSTLY MUTTS were up at our site to pick up beds for our four legged friends along with cat bunk beds & towers. Food (dog, puppy, cat) was also passed out with treats, toys, blankets, cleaning supplies and towels and sheets.  Everything was donated and a special thank you to Sharon Rhorbach, Mrs. Bertoldi, Maternal Health Services (Gail Kauffman) and Bianca Lynn for their help in gathering supplies.  Sharon alone donated over 200 cans of dog food.   It is people like them that make the work we do more beneficial to our friends in need.  We have only one wish that our friends will have many nights that they will not have to sleep on cold, damp floors and will possibly realize that they are loved.

Santa

Paul Kattner

I am retired after working as an industrial mechanic for most of my work career. I am married have had animals friends almost my whole life. This project that I have taken on has given me more satisfaction than my whole work career. So far over 600 beds and 60 cat bunks or towers have been made and donated to various shelters. Some new items were dog bunk beds and cat hammocks. I sleep at night knowing that in a small way we have made a difference in the life of the animals who have received our beds. We have sent beds to Nebraska, Texas, State of Washington and New Jersey. We have helped Eagle Scouts in their projects and in turn they have helped us.
