Due to personal health issues I will no longer be able to provide beds for our sheltered animals.
I would like to personally thank everyone who has helped me over the past 10 + years.

Thank you for visiting our Site

Devoted to the unwanted animals.

This all started with a love of all of Gods’ creatures great and small that was instilled in me by my mother. I have always donated to Animal shelters and as I am retired I was looking for a way to help out, I am not the type than can see the animals in shelters on a daily basis and I sincerely think we should applaud and appreciate the work that they do to help as many as they can.

About 10 ˝ years ago, I retired and was looking for a way to help our four legged friends. I called a local shelter and they stated they would like beds to keep the animals off the cold damp floors. In checking into purchasing beds I found out they are quite expensive. Being a retired Industrial Mechanic and talking to few of my friends I decided to make them. Now the interesting part of this is I had to find a sewing machine, learn how to sew and engineer a way to fabricate them.

Columbus Dog Connection gave me the idea on the fabrication – but I had to improve on it as I wanted them to be sewn. Purchased a used sewing machine and away we went forward and never looked back only forward.

We picked up some volunteers and they come and go but our mission is always the same to provide comfort for our four legged friends until they acquire their forever homes. Our volunteers help with fabrication and sewing of the beds. We have a Webmaster, Bob Allen, who has been with us from the beginning he offered his services and continues to help us improve our site, Pro Bono, on a daily basis. We are always in need of a few good men, women or young adults to continue our work.

So far we have supplied over 23 shelters with over 330 beds, 40 cat beds, 24 cat hammocks and other items we collect. The items are all at no cost to the shelters and we rely on donations of material, pipe and monetary funds – which we are always in need of. The shelters are located in any area where they will pick up the completed product(s).

We have one purpose in mind – to provide a comfortable bed to animals in shelters until they are adopted into a loving home. We believe in one animal, one shelter at a time until we sincerely hope there is no need for us anymore. Because all animals will have homes and people will adopt from shelters. There are so many loving, loyal, affectionate animals waiting for loving homes remember they did not want to be born or to be thrown by the wayside until there was a home for them.

Homeless Animals Prayer:

I ask for the privilege of not being born ... not to be born until you can assure me of a home and a master to protect me, and the right to live as long as I am physically able to enjoy life ... not to be born until my body is precious and men have ceased to exploit it because it is cheap and plentiful.
